Applicant Requirements

What we expect from every candidate applying for seasonal positions in Greece:

Requirements

CV in English (preferred) or Latvian, including one photo and indicated age.
For housekeeping positions, only basic English skills are required in order to understand work tasks, while waiters and other front-facing roles need conversational English proficiency.
Additional languages to English are considered an advantage and may open doors to higher positions.
Previous hospitality experience is not mandatory, but will be regarded as a plus.
Ability to work as part of an international team and follow lawful instructions from hotel management.
Certificate of clean criminal record (required for employment in hospitality).

Contract & Duration

Seasonal employment: minimum 3 - 6 months (May–October).
Hotels: mostly 4* - 5* hotels in Halkidiki, Northern Greece.
Recruitment & selection process takes place from end of January till March.
Once selected – a direct employment contract will be signed with the hotel.
After arrival, the hotel in cooperation with the company will handle all formal procedures regarding work permission, bank accounts and Greek phone number.

Salary & Working Hours

Salary: from €1,100 Net/ per Month
Schedule: 6 working days per week, 8h + 30 min break.
Work may include Sundays and national holiday.
Additional payment for overtime, Sundays and public holidays. The Christmas bonus, holiday bonus, and the compensation for unused vacation days are calculated based on the total time worked and are paid together with the final salary.
Returning employees for the next 3 seasons (2027–2029) must reapply via the agency GreeceCV.com (PREMIUM MANAGEMENT SIA).

Airport pick-up and transfer to hotel are fully arranged and paid by the hotel.
Travel insurance is purchased by the employee.
The candidate must obtain a European Health Insurance Card (EHIC) before traveling.

Bank Account & Taxes

Bank Account & Taxes

Every employee must have a Greek bank account for salary payments and a Tax Identification Number (AFM) and a Social Security Number (AMKA/PAAYPA), which will be arranged by the company in cooperation with the hotel.
Working Hours

Working Hours

Working hours in hotels are monitored using an individual work card or a mobile application, which employees must clock in and out with. Overtime and days off can be tracked through the MyErgani app.

Greek Phone Number

Every employee must have a Greek-registered phone number (a prepaid SIM card is sufficient) is required for registration in the ERGANI employment monitoring system, where working hours are recorded.
