It depends on the job – for housekeeping and Cook`s Assistant basic English is enough to understand instructions, while positions like hostess require good to fluent English.

Yes, after the end of the season you will receive documentation confirming your official employment in Greece. These documents may be useful for future job applications or if you wish to continue working in the hospitality industry abroad.

Flights are paid by the employee by his own expense. Once you arrive in Greece there will be organized transfers by hotel and you will be met and transferred to your accommodation or hotel.

The hotel provides accommodation usually near the hotel or resort. In case of accommodation is driving distance, hotel ensures transfer services free of charge.  

Accommodation is in shared rooms; a free staff bus takes employees to and from the hotel before and after the work.

Yes, employees receive three free meals per day in the staff dining area at the hotel.

No. The employer provides the full uniform, as well as towels and bed linen, including regular cleaning and replacement.

A clean criminal record certificate, basic English skills (additional languages are an advantage), the ability to work in a team, and willingness to follow legally given instructions from hotel supervisors; previous hospitality experience is helpful but not mandatory.
